David Letterman 'hurts' Paris Hilton on Late Show

Paris Hilton was ‘sad’ that she appeared on the ‘Late Show with David Letterman’ after the talk show host relentlessly teased her about her stint in jail. Hilton appeared on the show to promote her news fashion and perfume line, but instead was grilled about her time in jail.

“How’d you like your time in jail?” Letterman asked.

 

“Not too much,” Hilton replied.

 

Letterman continued to grill the hotel heiress to the laughter of the audience and finally Hilton stood up for herself saying, “I’m not answering any more questions about it. I’m here for my clothing line and my movie and my perfume – I’m not here to talk about that. I’ve moved on.”

 

“Now you’re making me sad that I came because you hurt my feelings,” Hilton added.

 

Letterman tried to make up with the socialite by joking, “I’ll buy you a parakeet!”
