A double elimination on last night’s Dancing with the Stars results show determined the four couples moving on to the semi-finals next week. The first couple to be eliminated was Roshon Fegan and Chelsie Hightower. The pair landed in the bottom two for the last two weeks, but survived by winning both dance duels. The second season of The Voice came to an end last night with one of the top four singers winning $100,000 and a recording contract with Universal Republic Records. That lucky artist turned out to be Jermaine Paul, a former backup singer for Alicia Keys. Juliet Simms was the runner-up. Tony Lucca and Chris Mann took third and fourth place respectively.Paul, who was mentored by Blake Shelton, chose R. Kelly’s “I Believe I Can Fly” for his finale performance. Sofia Vergara has reportedly ended her 2-year romance with businessman Nick Loeb. The New York Post reports Vergara spoke about the split to guests at the Met Gala in New York City on Monday.“Sofia was confiding in friends at the ball that she and Nick have split,” a source told the Post. “They have been fighting a lot recently and have been on the brink of splitting many times. Tom Gabel, the lead singer of the punk band Against Me!, tells Rolling Stone in its new issue that he is transgender and plans to begin hormone and electrolysis treatments to transition into living as a woman. Revealing that he has suffered from “gender dysphoria” for many years, Gabel says he will eventually change his name to Laura Jane Grace. The 31-year-old will remain married to wife Heather. Thomas Kinkade died of an overdose of alcohol and Valium, a California medical examiner has determined."Mr. Kinkade died of respiratory depression as a result of a high concentration of ethanol combined with benzodiazepine use," says the Santa Clara County Medical Examiner's autopsy report.The manner of death is listed as “accidental.” Kinkade, who had a history of alcohol abuse, was found dead in his Monte Sereno, California home on April 6 at the age of 54.
