The Ward, starring Amber Heard, Mamie Gummer, Danielle Panabaker, Lyndsy Fonseca, and Laura Leigh, opens in theaters Friday, July 8. The horror film stars Amber Heard as a young woman who battles an evil ghost while trapped in a mental institution. Runtime: 1 hour 40 minutes Rated: R

Zookeeper, starring Kevin James, Rosario Dawson, Leslie Bibb, Ken Jeong and Donnie Wahlberg, opens in theaters Friday, July 8. The comedy follows zookeeper Griffin Keyes as he decides to find a more glamorous job in order to impress women and hopefully get a date. The animals at Franklin Park Zoo have different ideas about how Griffin should score dates. To keep their beloved caretaker with them, the animals decide to teach Griffin their dating rules and let him in on their biggest secret – they can talk. Runtime: 1 hour 44 minutes Rated: PG

Ironclad, starring Kate Mara, Jason Flemyng, Paul Giamatti, James Purefoy and Brian Cox, opens in theaters Friday, July 8. The Ledge, starring Liv Tyler, Charlie Hunnam, Patrick Wilson, Terrence Howard and Christopher Gorham, opens in theaters Friday, July 8. The thriller stars Charlie Hunnam as Gavin, a young college professor whose passionate affair with the wife of a devout Christian spirals out of control and pushes him to choose between life and death. Project Nim, starring Bob Angelini, Bern Cohen and Reagan Leonard, opens in theaters Friday, July 8. The documentary chronicles the life of a chimpanzee that was raised as a human by an American family in the 70s. The film features footage of Nim with the Terrace family. Cold Fish, starring Makoto Ashikawa, Denden, Mitsuru Fukikoshi, Megumi Kagurazaka and Hakari Kajiwara, opens in theaters Wednesday, July 6. The horror film tells the story of a teenage girl who become entangled with a seemingly normal couple who hide a very dark secret. Sholem Aleichem: Laughing in the Darkness opens in theaters Friday, July 8. The documentary explores the life and work of the great Yiddish writer, Sholem Aleichem.
